Candy Shoppe (northbound at 8903 Hwy 11 ) opened in 2000 and ran for 21 years ( closing in January 2021) The Southbound location (8640 Hwy 11 ) opened in 2005 and continues to run to this day. We carry over 1400 different types of candy as well as a huge quantity of collectables such as mugs, tinware, acrylic glasses, playing cards, magnets, salt & pepper shakers, wall plaques, Pez dispensers, buttons and more. We have items for fans of Dr. Who, Wizard of Oz, Walking Dead, Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Horror, and all kinds of video gamer items.
We are open year round 7 days a week closing only for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Hours are 9-6 Daily
Southbound Store Telephone number is 1-705-325-8334
We are located right on Hwy 11 just past the orange Webers Hamburgers pedestrian bridge that crosses the highway. We are about 1 1/2 hours drive north of Toronto, about 6km north of the town of Orillia and about 6 km south of the town of Gravenhurst in Ontario, Canada.
The listing of products is solely for you to be able to see what we carry and any prices showing may have changed since the photographs were taken ( since currency rate exchanges do not remain stable from other countries on imported candies and collectables). Sorry, but we do not sell and ship our products online any more due to the increasing numbers of credit card charge backs and fraud we ran into when we used to have an online candy shoppe. So- you will have to come to the stores in person or get a friend who is travelling past us to pick up what you need.
The Candy Shoppe has become a traditional stop on the way to and from cottage country and we will thrill both old and young with childhood memories of long forgotten treats and we keep you coming back with the ever changing inventory of gifts and eye candy for hard core collectors. You can spend an hour here and never see everything in the store so plan to stay a while or make the Candy Shoppe your destination on a day trip. You won’t be disappointed, we promise you that!
We love our customers and welcome your feedback and suggestions. Use our Contact Us page to ask us about any candies you are looking for as well as what we’re doing right or what we can improve on.
